  • How do I change my fee structure?

    You simply log on to your account, click ‘Company Details’, click ‘Edit details’. Now you’ll be able to review, amend, add, or delete any legal fees, disbursements or additional fees as your business model changes.

  • How often should I check my Exchange Train Account for cases?

    We recommend you check your account daily to make sure you haven’t missed any opportunities or status updates. However, Exchange Train will notify you via email of any new quote requests or instructions.

  • How do I update my account?

    Simply login to your account. From here you can update your company information by clicking ‘Company Details’.

  • Why is my account paused?

    Each month we need to keep track of how our solicitors are doing. You will need to update each case from the previous month on your account with either an ‘instructed or declined’ status. If your account is paused it is most likely due to a missed case update.
    If this has occurred, it is easy to reverse. Simply contact your Exchange Train representative and we will work with you to unlock and update your account to get you up and running again.

  • How much reach do I have across the UK?

    Exchange Train operates nationally and does not limit its conveyancing solicitors to specific areas. Each conveyancing solicitor will have the opportunity to acquire business throughout England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

  • How do I purchase additional searches?

    Our search provider (SearchesUK) will contact you directly after a search order has been made and advise on any additional searches needed.

  • If the question I want to ask isn’t listed here what do I do?

    Please email your question to account@exchangetrain.co.uk.

  • What should I do if I haven’t heard from SearchesUK?

    Please make sure the contact details on your account are correct and you have checked your junk mail. Contact us using account@exchangetrain.co.uk and we’ll be able to help restart conversation.

    Please contact your SearchesUK representative for any matters relating to the search packs.

  • I need to cancel the searches, what do I do?

    You’ll need to contact SearchesUK to request a cancellation. They will handle the request and notify you of the outcome.
